WORKSHOPS
You know you’re capable.
But your confidence can drop in certain situations.
-
You’re highly competent, but certain situations still trigger self-doubt or anxiety.
-
You might know exactly what to do, but struggle to access that confidence when the pressure is on.
-
You’re ambitious and motivated, but setbacks can knock you harder than you’d like.
-
Or you might simply feel that you’re capable of more than you are currently demonstrating.
That is exactly where performance psychology can help.
The competence-confidence gap
What would help you most to get to the next level?
a) Becoming more competent?
Or
b) Becoming more confident, particularly in certain situations?
When I ask professionals that question, almost 90% say being more confident in certain situations would help them most in getting to the next level.
I’ve heard the same answer from people at every level, including senior business leaders.
And yet so much personal and organisational development still focuses on competence.
Often the challenge isn’t knowing what to do. It’s being able to access what you already know when the pressure is on.
Imagine what could change for you, your team or your organisation if you could turn up that confidence at
the moments that matter most.
